The Girl Scouts of Troop 20943 from A.L. Lotts Elementary School pay a visit to Morning Pointe of Knoxville (TN) resident Jim Thompson (center), whose granddaughter is a classmate of theirs. In addition to the time spent with Thompson, the Girl Scouts also showered the assisted living and Alzheimer’s memory care community’s residents with hugs and containers of Girl Scout fruit slices and even found the time to sing “Jingle Bells” with them. “This is the first time we’ve partnered with Girl Scout Troop 20943, but we are looking forward to seeing more of those sweet girls around our community,” says Morning Pointe life enrichment director Pat Anderson. “There were happy smiles on everyone’s faces!”
