Morning Pointe of Calhoun (GA) resident Geneva Gentry and Jessica Henderson of Amedisys Hospice show off the candy cane door-hanger Gentry created as part of Henderson’s weekly crafting class at the assisted living and Alzheimer’s memory care community. Under Henderson’s direction, residents got into the Christmas spirit by creating candy cane-shaped door-hangers with tissue paper. “The residents were very happy with how their door-hangers turned out,” said Morning Pointe life enrichment director Keisha Cox. “We’re very grateful to have a new regular volunteer in Jessica.”
