Brentwood High School student Carissa Shuxteau takes a bow following a recent performance at Morning Pointe of Brentwood (TN). The young musician played several classical pieces on the piano and cello for the assisted living and Alzheimer’s memory care community’s residents. A sophomore at Brentwood High School, Shuxteau studies music with Vanderbilt’s Blair School of Music High School Honors Program and has also performed at Morning Pointe with the program’s ensemble. “Carissa loves playing for our residents, and they love listening to her play!” says Morning Pointe life enrichment director Regie Ragland.
