Annie Pollard, Josephine Johnson, Vallery Choy, Shirley Steele, Joan Latham, and Vincent Fiori of the Bible Buddies conclude another successful devotional session at The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, Franklin (TN). The Bible Buddies visit the memory care community every two weeks to share their passion for the word of God. “It’s not your typical devotions reading. The residents are encouraged to engage in discussion, share their own experiences, and connect to one another through God. We are blessed to have had these women be a part of The Lantern community for over two years, and their presence draws almost 100 percent participation,” says The Lantern executive director Ashley Briggs. “It is a testament to their dedication and true passion for ministry.”
