Morning Pointe of Brentwood (TN) residents Peggy Overbey and David Hunsucker (seated, second from right and far right) bid farewell to a group of students from Brentwood United Methodist’s Youth Outreach Program after a week of fun and fellowship. The church group spent a week with the residents of the assisted living and Alzheimer’s memory care community’s The Lantern memory care wing, playing games and chatting with them. “We really appreciate the students taking the time to show our residents that they are loved,” says Lantern program director Bridey Casillas. “It may seem like a simple gesture, just spending time with someone, but it means so much to our residents.”
