Caris Healthcare Volunteer Coordinator Patty McGrew joined the residents of The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, Clinton (TN) for Music Makers with Caris. McGrew passed out maracas, clappers, and hats to the memory care community’s residents and then played music that many of the residents had grown up listening to.
“The residents got a huge kick out of it. It put a smile on their faces!” says Sarah Smith, the Lantern Program Director at The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, Clinton. “It was wonderful to see residents singing along and making music together. We are so thankful for volunteers like Patty for enriching our residents’ lives!”
