The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, Chattanooga, celebrated its official Grand Re-Opening on Thursday, July 29, signaling a complete comeback for the Morning Pointe campus after being devastated in the Easter 2020 EF3 tornado.
The Morning Pointe Foundation has added Cleveland State Community College as its tenth community college partner as it works to provide scholarship support for more nursing students in the Bradley, Meigs, McMinn, Monroe, and Polk County region.
Morning Pointe Senior Living recently donated a ten-passenger van to Skyuka Hall, an alternative learning community in the greater Chattanooga area, to provide the school with transportation after their current bus was vandalized and the catalytic converter was stolen.
The Morning Pointe Foundation, together with certified estate planning specialists and attorneys Martin Pierce and John Huisman of the law firm Pierce & Huisman, PLLC, will present “Virtual Retirement Planning,” a live, virtual Caregiver Café seminar in collaboration with Morning Pointe Senior Living about planning for retirement in the later stages of life.

Morning Pointe of East Hamilton Residents Win Art Contest In Partnership With Valamont Club, Rossville Elementary Students
In a display of intergenerational excellence, Morning Pointe of East Hamilton residents Ann Hagerman and Bernice Peace recently placed first and second, respectively, in a local art contest produced in partnership by the Valamont Woman’s Club and Rossville Elementary School.
