The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, Collegedale (TN) residents John Norton, Louise Burger, Eleanor Anthony, Eleanor Carpenter, and John Carpenter enjoy an early fall day at the Raccoon Mountain Visitor Center. At least once a month, the memory care community’s residents embark on supervised outings throughout the greater Chattanooga area. “We could see clear to the Smoky Mountains, and the seven bridges of Chattanooga were also very prominent. The residents were in awe of the beautiful view and weather!” says Lantern program director Michele Gunther.
