Columbia Academy “Adopts” Morning Pointe for the School Year
The residents of Morning Pointe of Columbia (TN) always enjoy receiving visitors! Visitors who return frequently are especially adored, as they become not simply guests or volunteers but lifelong friends. This is why the residents of the assisted living community were particularly excited to learn that Columbia Academy, a private Christian school in Columbia, Tennessee, had “adopted” them for the school year. On the first of many monthly visits, the students spent the afternoon playing games, doing crafts, and getting to know the residents. The residents, for their part, loved visiting with the students and eagerly anticipate their return.
“We love seeing the students come and bring gifts, visit, and even share their musical talents! Thank you, Columbia Academy for all you do!” says Bridget Barger, the Life Enrichment Director at Morning Pointe of Columbia.
