The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, Lexington (KY) resident Mildred Anderson is excited to spend time with young visitor Amelia. “Many of our residents love interacting with children and babies. This ‘cuddle therapy’ truly brings them comfort,” Lantern executive director Brooke Griffith says. “For some of them, it even taps into memories of being a parent themselves. We are so blessed to be able to snuggle with sweet visitors like Amelia. They brighten our residents’ day just by being themselves!”
