Morning Pointe of Powell (TN) resident Dan Dockins get up close and personal with University of Tennessee mascot Smokey at the assisted living and Alzheimer’s memory care community’s fall festival. The festival, which was open to everyone in the greater Powell area, featured games, food, face painting, a bounce house, photo booths, a small petting zoo, live music, and a special appearance by the UT cheerleaders. “The residents enjoyed seeing all of the children dressed up and spending time with their families on this beautiful fall evening,” says Morning Pointe life enrichment director Taylor Collins. “The kids also got to go around to residents’ rooms and trick-or-treat. We could not have asked for a better turnout!”
