Morning Pointe of Powell (TN) resident J.C. Bowman and a local Girl Scout share a treat together in honor of Halloween. As part of a longstanding partnership with the Girl Scouts, the assisted living and Alzheimer’s memory care community hosted a Halloween Party for a local troop, inviting the girls to wear their favorite costumes and enjoy some tasty treats. After showing off their costumes in a costume parade, the scouts spent time talking with the residents and gave them all a bag of candy. “The Girl Scouts absolutely love coming to our community and hanging out with the residents, and the residents love it just as much as they do,” says Morning Pointe life enrichment director Taylor Collins. “The relationships they are building with one another are incredible to see!”
