Monday, May 1, 2 p.m. | “A Taste of the Derby” Homemade Pie Contest
Ladies and gentlemen, grab your forks for our Homemade Pie Contest. Pie entries are due the day of the event between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. One lip-puckering pie will receive the title of Morning Pointe’s Winning Pie.
Wednesday, May 3, 2 p.m. | “The Kentucky Derby: A Celebration of Kentucky and its Heritage”
Gather around as guest speaker James C. Claypool, professor emeritus of History at Northern Kentucky University and Co-editor of the Encyclopedia of Northern Kentucky, discusses the history of the world’s most famous horse race. Call to RSVP.
Friday, May 5, 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. | “My Old Kentucky Home Brunch”
Start your day with traditional Southern fare. Brunch tickets are available for $8, and all proceeds will benefit the Morning Pointe Foundation. Includes special singing performance by Brad King. Tickets include a tour of the community.
