Students from the Oak Grove home school cooperative join Morning Pointe of Knoxville (TN) residents for game night. Together, residents from the assisted living and Alzheimer’s memory care community and the students played games such as Sorry!, Monopoly, and Yahtzee. “It was precious to watch the residents and children play together as if they were already close friends,” says Morning Pointe Lantern program director Kari Christopher. “From now on, the students are going to be visiting once a month and are even coming to our Christmas party!”
