Morning Pointe of Tuscaloosa (AL) associate Savannah Ingram and resident Shirley Cunningham share a hug after dropping off homemade dog treats at the Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter. The assisted living and Alzheimer’s memory care community’s residents made frozen yogurt treats to share with their four-legged friends that call the shelter home. “Our residents love to serve their community, and many of them are passionate about animals, so we were happy to give them an opportunity to help local animals in need,” says Morning Pointe life enrichment director Sharon Hollie.
