A group of Johnson County 4H Junior Leaders paid a visit to Morning Pointe of Franklin (IN) to help the assisted living and Alzheimer’s memory care community’s residents with their spring gardening. Resident Don Shaw was particularly proud of how much the plant gifted to him by Franklin Community High School’s Future Farmers of America (FFA) had grown and made sure to show the visiting students. “Don was so excited to show them his plant and learn what kind of plant it was,” says Morning Pointe life enrichment director Mary Beth Piland. “Everyone was over the moon to see how well it had grown! We are so grateful that the Johnson County 4H Junior Leaders came to see us!”
