Michael Wear, the owner of Brooklyn Brothers Pizza in Franklin, performs for the residents of The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, Franklin (TN). Wear, who is just as passionate about music as he is about pizza, first connected with the memory care community via maintenance director Marcus Harper. Wear offered to throw a pizza party for The Lantern residents and to join them as a monthly musical volunteer. “Our residents had a great time at the pizza party and loved the musical entertainment,” says The Lantern executive director Ashley Briggs. “We are so grateful to Mike for taking time out of his busy schedule as a business owner and operator to join us every second Tuesday of the month for more amazing music and fellowship.”
