BRENTWOOD, Tenn. — Kelly Berry, local author, read her first book, Sugar Pie’s Shoes, to listeners of all ages at Morning Pointe of Brentwood. Preschoolers from YMCA Brentwood, and the residents and associates at the assisted living and memory care community all gathered to hear Berry narrate her story about a cow who won’t let her big feet get in the way of her faith in God.

“Truly, it’s been one of my favorite readings,” Berry says. “The idea that ages four through 100 were represented simply blows me away.”

As part of the life enrichment program at Morning Pointe, guests young and old are invited to enjoy engaging intergenerational activities, making new memories with each turn of the page.
