Local piano teacher and Morning Pointe of Brentwood (TN) volunteer Lauren D’Amato (second row, far left) held two recitals to allow her students to show off their musical skills for the assisted living and Alzheimer’s memory care community. D’Amato began volunteering at Morning Pointe in 2013, leading a bimonthly sing-along in the building’s The Lantern memory care wing. “You always know when Lauren is in the community because of her sunny personality!” says Morning Pointe life enrichment director Chris Phillips. “She loves sharing her gift of music with all of our residents.”
