Morning Pointe of Franklin (IN) resident Stephen Herrold and Jessica from the local of ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints celebrate their victory in a game with a double high five. Youth leaders from the church recently brought a group of students to the assisted living and Alzheimer’s memory care community to play games and spend time with the residents. “Nights like this clearly illustrate the impact that young people can have on our community. Unless you have experienced it for yourself, it can be difficult to understand the positive effect that they have on our seniors and vice versa,” says Morning Pointe life enrichment director Mary Beth Piland. “It was truly a great night. A win-win scenario for everyone!”
