Morning Pointe of Tuscaloosa had a fabulous February, Our Mardi Gras party featured a delicious low country boil with crawfish and shrimp, gumbo and jumbalaya. Willie “Jazzanova” Davis provided great music on his saxophone! Our residents made Valentines for the second graders at Matthews Elementary and hope to begin collecting books for their summer reading soon! Moving forward into March, we will be headed back to the school on March 2nd to read to the classes in celebration of Dr. Seuss’ birthday. We will also be headed to the animal shelter with treats for the dogs awaiting adoption. Morning Pointe of Tuscaloosa will be celebrating holidays like St. Patrick’s Day and Easter with crafts and fun. On Good Friday, February 25th, we will officially welcome Spring with our annual petting zoo! This will be from 4-6 in front of the Lantern. The residents are looking forward to some springtime weather, being outside and watching new plants grow. We will have lots to do so make sure to check our calendars for more fun opportunities to be with our Morning Pointe Family!
