TULLAHOMA, Tenn. — Morning Pointe of Tullahoma residents welcomed Nathaniel Nichols, student at Motlow State Community College to give a speech about his grandmother Ruth Rymer, who was once a resident at the assisted living and Alzheimer’s memory care community.

Nichols enjoyed the opportunity to share his heartfelt story, as the seniors embraced the student as an “adoptive grandchild.” Morning Pointe’s life enrichment program invites students and young adults to visit with the residents, as both groups experience the many benefits of intergenerational activity.
