CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (January 10, 2017) – Independent Healthcare Properties (IHP) and Morning Pointe Senior Living presented the annual corporate leadership awards to five of its assisted living and Alzheimer’s memory care communities for exemplifying a unique dedication to residents and their families. Annually, the Chattanooga-based senior healthcare services company acknowledges top-performing teams of caregivers, directors and customer service associates from its 27 communities across the Southeast.
Executives and staff from each of the winning communities received a plaque and a trip to Chattanooga to be recognized by corporate leadership during Morning Pointe’s annual year-end awards banquet.
Morning Pointe of Greeneville, Tenn. was named 2016’s “Community of the Year” for overall leadership in providing quality senior care. Other honors presented include:
- Marketing and Community Outreach Award – Morning Pointe of Franklin, IN
- Customer Service Award – Morning Pointe of Brentwood, TN
- “TEAM” Award – Morning Pointe of Athens, TN
- Operational Achievement Award – Morning Pointe of Richmond, KY

The healthcare services company also presented the peer-reviewed annual Exceeding Expectations awards to individual associates for caregiving and customer service excellence. Additionally, caregivers, nurses, maintenance and other support personnel are recognized every quarter, receiving honors for exceptional senior care all year around.
During the ceremony, Morning Pointe also launched its 20th Anniversary Celebration and “Make Your Mark” campaign, as associates team up with residents and volunteers to give back 20,000 hours of community service during 2017. “Make Your Mark” was inspired by Morning Pointe’s commitment to community involvement through life enrichment and intergenerational programs designed to promote healthy, active lifestyles for seniors. This year-long effort is led by Morning Pointe associates, whose inspiration to serve others goes beyond their careers.
