COLLEGEDALE, Tenn. — Alex Zegarra, resident assistant at Morning Pointe of Collegedale at Greenbriar Cove, went beyond his job description to help one resident complete a puzzle she had almost given up on.
Ida Lehmann, resident at the assisted living community, received a puzzle from her family for Christmas, and she thought its completion was impossible. But with encouragement from Zegarra and a little help, piece by piece, they finished the project.
According to his teammates, Zegarra always goes out of his way, whether it’s working a puzzle, being a helping technological hand, or making time for card games when the teams are one person short.
Behind every Meaningful Day is a team of compassionate associates who share their talents with the residents as part of the life enrichment program.
