TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Morning Pointe of Tuscaloosa residents welcomed members of The Church at Tuscaloosa for Valentine’s Day crafts. The seniors at the assisted living and Alzheimer’s memory care community invite the group of young adults to work on their latest crafts. In exchange for the residents’ smiles, the church members bring charming gifts of flowers and greeting cards to remember the special moments together.
Local churches and youth groups visit Morning Pointe to embrace the many known benefits of fellowship and intergenerational activity as part of the life enrichment and Meaningful Day(tm) programs.
