CALHOUN, Ga. — Morning Pointe of Calhoun residents stuffed goody bags and delivered them to the teachers at W. L. Swain Elementary, thanking them for their excellent work with local students.

But this act of kindness is nothing new for the seniors and associates at the assisted living and memory care community. Their goodwill and charity have inspired a yearlong community service campaign called “Make Your Mark.” The seniors, associates, volunteers and family members, along with partners and nonprofits, come together to help parent company Morning Pointe Senior Living reach its goal of 20,000 hours of volunteerism in 2017.
