LEXINGTON, KY — Residents at Morning Pointe of Lexington-East enjoyed a trip to the Louisville Zoo to meet a variety of furry, feathered and four-legged friends.

As part of the Life Enrichment Program, the senior living community embraces the many benefits of “pet therapy” through visits to local animal shelters, rescues and zoos.

The residents got the opportunity to enjoy awe and education about many of the animals.
