Morning Pointe of Powell residents enjoyed a performance by Kim Frasch, guitarist who leads a quiet music ministry with Faith Lutheran Church in Vonore. He enjoys playing soft rock, hymns, classical music and other tunes over a heartfelt undertone. Frasch, whose father suffered from Alzheimer’s disease, performs songs for the assisted living and memory care community to promote the power of music and its ability to rekindle memories.

As part of the Meaningful Day curriculum, the Life Enrichment Program at Morning Pointe invites local musicians and performers to share their talents with the personal care and memory care residents. Music therapy at the senior living community helps enhance engagement and socialization, fostering a calmer social environment for residents.
