RUSSELL, KY — Morning Pointe of Russell celebrated a milestone during National Alzheimer’s Awareness Month, as the senior living community was recognized for raising the most money of any organization during the 2016 Walk to End Alzheimer’s.

Morning Pointe of Russell’s team raised $8,000 — surpassing their goal — with all proceeds benefitting the Alzheimer’s Association. The team was commemorated with a plaque and the title of “2016 Highest Fundraising Professional Caregiver.”

“This recognition makes us strive even harder for next year,” says Wanda Parker, senior executive director at the senior living community. ” Morning Pointe is a proud partner with the Alzheimer’s Association, and will continue to go the extra mile to someday help find a cure for this all too common disease.”
