LEXINGTON, KY — Morning Pointe Senior Living brought home the “Highest Fundraising Team” award for being the top fundraiser during the Alzheimer’s Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Lexington.

Morning Pointe senior living and memory care communities in Lexington and Frankfort raised $11,000 this year to benefit research and support initiatives for Alzheimer’s disease.

“I am very proud of the combined efforts of our Morning Pointe communities, knowing that not only funds raised, but the hours spent and lives touched, are all done to support the local Alzheimer’s Association,” said Greg A. Vital, president and CEO of Independent Healthcare Properties and Morning Pointe Senior Living. “This is an important cause.”

Morning Pointe is the region’s choice for quality senior living and memory care, with campuses in Lexington, Frankfort, Louisville, Richmond, Russell and Danville (opening October 25).
