FRANKFORT, KY — Residents at The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, Frankfort, enjoyed beautiful guitar music performed by Jose Rivera.

Rivera, a seasoned musician and singer, has played at festivals and events for more than 20 years, winning several awards for his talent.

In honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month (celebrated annually from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15), the memory care community welcomed Rivera’s music during Family Night. The atmosphere, adorned with cultural decor, was a vibrant backdrop for guests and residents who enjoyed an evening of Hispanic music and cuisine.

As part of the Meaningful Day™ program, the seniors at Morning Pointe take time to celebrate annual observances, embracing new experiences and making new memories together.
