ATHENS, Tenn. — Morning Pointe of Athens gave a special presentation to honor those who served in the Armed Forces and their families.
Bill Stewart, Morning Pointe resident, and chaplain at the American Legion in Athens, gave the devotion, prayer and led the Pledge of Allegiance.
As part of the life enrichment program, the assisted living community never misses a moment to thank those who served and risked their lives for America’s freedom.
Wayne Koman, from Veterans Financial in Etowah, presented a certificate and bible to each of the residents at the assisted living community, shaking each of their hands and thanking them for their service.
