Morning Pointe Hosts “Back to School Drive” for Madison County Resource Center
In order to be successful, it is essential to have the right tools. However, thanks to Morning Pointe of Richmond (KY), local children in need will have just the tools they need for school. The senior living community hosted a “Back to School” school supplies drive, collecting bags filled with new school supplies for the Madison County Resource Center to help ensure that the children at Kit Carson Elementary School, the home of the resource center, receive the best possible start to a successful school year. According to Kathy West, Life Enrichment Director at Morning Pointe of Richmond, the entire senior living community participated in the drive, including residents, associates, friends, and family members. She also encourages other community members to contribute to this worthy cause. “School started this week but the resource center is still taking donations for school supplies,” she says.
