Morning Pointe of Richmond (KY) family member Candra Hall enjoys a hotdog with her grandmother, resident Jean Harper, at the personal care community’s Independence Day celebration. Community members from throughout the Richmond area were invited to join Morning Pointe residents, associates, and family members for a cookout featuring hamburgers and hotdogs grilled by food service director Jeff Taylor and music from Bobby and Brenda Fugate. “The Fugates were very entertaining and everyone, including families, enjoyed them,” says Morning Pointe life enrichment director Kathy West. “After their performance wrapped up, we enjoyed slices of refreshing watermelon while watching the city’s fireworks from our great spot on the front porch. We had a wonderful time celebrating the founding of our nation with family, friends, and neighbors!”
