CALHOUN, Ga. — Morning Pointe of Calhoun residents enjoyed books and butterflies with the children at the Gordon County Library’s story time group. The kids and seniors enjoyed making butterfly crafts.

Later the groups visited the courtyard at the assisted living and memory care community to watch the phenomenon of butterflies completing their journey to adulthood. The residents released the butterflies to the youth’s enjoyment.

Morning Pointe partners with schools and camps as the seniors embrace the many benefits of intergenerational programming as part of the life enrichment program.
