Calhoun, Georgia- February 24, 2015– – Independent Healthcare Properties, LLC (IHP) and Morning Pointe Senior Living are pleased to announce Aldo Ancheta as the new executive director for the Morning Pointe of Calhoun assisted living and Alzheimer’s memory care community. Ancheta and his wife Ilena are brand new to the area and are excited about settling in Calhoun and immersing themselves into the area.

Ancheta has worked for Morning Pointe Senior Living for almost four years starting out as a receptionist and then working his way up to a business office manager and finally enrolling in the executive director-in-training program. The hands-on training allowed Aldo to experience firsthand the daily responsibilities of Morning Pointe associates at all levels from the resident assistants who care for the seniors daily to the resident services director who oversees the medication and health care plan of each senior, all the way to the maintenance director who manages the building.

Now, as executive director, Ancheta will oversee all of the day-to-day operations of the assisted living and Alzheimer’s memory care community, insuring the highest quality of care and customer service.

“We are very pleased to have Aldo on board in his role as executive director at Morning Pointe of Calhoun,” said Greg A. Vital, president and CEO of IHP and Morning Pointe Senior Living. “His work ethic and accomplishments through our executive director-in-training program along with his dedication to enriching the lives of our residents and helping them continue to have meaning and purpose are just a few of the admirable skills that make him the perfect addition to our Morning Pointe leadership team.”

A graduate of Southern Adventist University, Ancheta holds a MBA degree with an emphasis in Health Care Administration. He and his wife have always been very involved in the communities where they live. Before moving to Calhoun, they were involved in Apison, a suburb of Chattanooga. Aldo and Ilena were very active in their church serving on the board of Impact Multicultural Seventh Day Adventist Church together. In fact, Ancheta was voted upcoming Church Administrator. He also served on the planning board for the Alzheimer’s Association’s Run to Remember, securing corporate sponsorships. “Our plan is to be as involved in Calhoun as we were in Apison,” shares Ancheta. “Already I volunteer for the Healing Hands Clinic once a month and plan on getting involved with different groups in the city. We love to give back to our community.”
