In Hamilton County, construction is nearly 40 percent complete on Morning Pointe of East Hamilton, the first phase of Morning Pointe’s sixth development in the Chattanooga area. The 73-unit craftsman-styled assisted living community is due to open in the fall of 2019 and will ultimately be part of a $35 million, 24-acre senior living campus. The proposed campus is expected to include a freestanding The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence memory care community and, in a first for Morning Pointe Senior Living, a 120-unit independent living community for adults over the age of 55. Morning Pointe of East Hamilton is located at 1776 Generations Way in Ooltewah.
