Morning Pointe Partners with Safe Harbor of Northeastern Kentucky to Host Resident Volunteers
Safe Harbor executive director Ann Perkins, Morning Pointe of Russell (KY) resident Helen Motycka, and Safe Harbor director of finance and administration Beth Lunsford.
Morning Pointe life enrichment director Katie Smith and Motycka visited the local shelter on behalf of the personal care community, bringing a carload of donated clothes, toys, and other goods for the women and children living there. “Morning Pointe of Russell and Safe Harbor of Northeastern Kentucky have recently become community partners and are looking forward to this new and exciting relationship!” Smith says. ”Our residents have plans to visit Safe Harbor monthly to donate time to the residents there, reading stories, crafting with children and mothers, and providing friendship and support to those who need love. Our residents want to give back and be involved with the greater community, and we strive to give them many opportunities to do that.”
