POWELL, Tenn. — It was a time to reflect and remember, as Morning Pointe of Powell held a Candlelight Celebration of Life in honor of residents that had passed away during the past year.

Reverend A. D. Baxter presided over the service, and Dan Kelly, Morning Pointe resident, gave the invocation. Leadership associates Patt Benn and Leslee Wilkinson gave a special musical performance, and a slideshow with commentary highlighted the special days in the lives of the residents who once called the assisted living and memory care community home.

Following the service, a gem Magnolia tree was planted in front of the community — its roots running deep with memories of their beloved residents.
