FRANKLIN, Ind. — Morning Pointe of Franklin residents love pizza, so much that a group of students from Franklin College threw a party to celebrate the seniors’ favorite food.
But there was a catch; the residents at the assisted living and Alzheimer’s memory care community were challenged to a friendly volleyball match with the young adults.
It was a win-win for everyone, as everyone enjoyed pizza and volleyball with no hesitation. Courtesy of Snappy Pizza’s donation, tummies and hearts were full as the seniors embraced intergenerational fun with the students.
Morning Pointe partners with local schools, colleges and universities, as guests of all ages are welcome to spend quality time with the residents as part of the life enrichment and Meaningful Day(tm) program.
