The residents of Morning Pointe of Brentwood (TN) know what it means to “love thy neighbor.” In this instance, the “neighbor” in question is literally their next-door neighbor, Holy Family Catholic Church. The senior living community maintains a very positive relationship with the neighboring church, and recently, some Morning Pointe residents took a trip there for morning mass.
“Family Catholic is our neighborhood Catholic church that blesses us with volunteers every Wednesday… [The volunteers] serve our residents Holy Communion and present the daily readings. It’s a blessing to have such great Brentwood neighbors!” says Chris Phillips, one of the Life Enrichment Directors at Morning Pointe of Brentwood.
