Even while dressed as cows, Morning Pointe of Frankfort (KY) resident Carolyn Bowles, life enrichment director Vanessa Damron, and resident Carolyn Rogers can’t help but show their Wildcat pride by wearing University of Kentucky blue. In honor of Cow Appreciation Day, an annual promotion event during which Chick-fil-A franchises nationwide offer free entrees to anyone who visits the restaurant dressed as a cow, residents from the personal care community made a trip to their local Chick-fil-A in costume, ready to partake in the fun and free chicken. “We love to get out and support our local businesses, and Cow Appreciation Day is the one day of the year when it’s okay to dress ‘udderly’ crazy in exchange for free food!” Damron says with a laugh. “Cow Appreciation Day has become as much of a Morning Pointe tradition as it is a Chick-fil-A tradition, and we are so grateful to our local Chick-fil-A franchise for showing us a great time!”
