A “herd” of residents from Morning Pointe of Louisville (KY) can’t wait to receive their free entrees from Chick-fil-A! In honor of Cow Appreciation Day, an annual promotion event during which Chick-fil-A franchises nationwide offer free entrees to anyone who visits the restaurant dressed as a cow, residents from the personal care and Alzheimer’s memory care campus made a trip to their local Chick-fil-A in costume, ready to partake in the fun and free chicken. “In support of the Alzheimer’s Association, our memory care residents, and those living with Alzheimer’s disease worldwide, we dressed up as purple cows and paraded down to Chick-fil-A. The fire department even led the way in one of their fire engines. The residents had a fantastic time!” says Morning Pointe life enrichment director Lisa Hagerty with a laugh. “Cow Appreciation Day has become as much of a Morning Pointe tradition as it is a Chick-fil-A tradition, and we are so grateful to our local Chick-fil-A franchise for showing us a great time!”
