Morning Pointe of Powell (TN) resident J.C. Bowman enjoys cooling off with an ice cream cone from Bruster’s. In honor of National Ice Cream Day, a group of residents from the assisted living and Alzheimer’s memory care community visited their local Bruster’s counter to score some cold and creamy treats. “It’s really rewarding to watch our residents bond with each other and with visitors during our ice cream socials. It has this weird way of bringing people together. I mean, no matter what your age is, almost everybody likes ice cream, right?” says Morning Pointe life enrichment director Taylor Collins with a laugh.
