Morning Pointe of Powell (TN) resident Will Boggs can’t help but smile as he holds volunteer Heather McCarty’s baby goat. McCarty is a frequent visitor to the assisted living and Alzheimer’s personal care community and often brings her miniature horse, Tank, to spend time with the residents. However, residents were hardly expecting McCarty to bring a baby goat during her most recent visit! “The residents loved the baby goat!” says Morning Pointe life enrichment director Taylor Collins. “They had so much fun holding him and watching him jump around! We are so thankful for the pet therapy that Heather provides for the residents.”
