TULLAHOMA, Tenn. — Morning Pointe of Tullahoma residents have been playing with their food but in a meaningful way. The seniors at the assisted living and Alzheimer’s memory care community are exploring ways to enjoy local, farm-fresh foods with a creative spin.
Pizza — made of zucchini — was on the menu. The residents enjoyed slicing the vegetable into strips, slathering on tomato sauce and adding their favorite toppings.
Fun was served fresh at Morning Pointe, as seniors enjoy fresh fruits and vegetables from local farmers and co-ops as part of the Farm to Table dining services program.
