After three months of collecting and campaigning, the residents of Morning Pointe of Lenoir City (TN) proudly delivered a host of donated toys to the Kids First Child Advocacy Center of the Ninth Judicial District, an organization based in Lenoir City, Tennessee that serves children who have been abused. Each quarter, Morning Pointe holds a toy drive to benefit the center, during which residents, associates, and family members can donate toys to the assisted living community. At the end of the drive, the Life Enrichment Director and residents deliver the donated toys to the Child Advocacy Center, which are then given to the children who are brought to the center.
“This started as a part of our ‘Make your Mark’ campaign [in 2017] and has continued ever since. We are so thankful to be able to continue to serve in our community and do great things to help others. The residents enjoy doing this so much!” says Camie Entrekin, the Life Enrichment Director at Morning Pointe of Lenoir City.
