LOUISVILLE, KY — Morning Pointe of Louisville residents took a scenic drive to Zachary Taylor National Cemetery. During their visit, the seniors from the personal care and Alzheimer’s memory care community placed flags and windmills around the grounds to honor fallen heroes in light of Independence Day. It was an educational experience as the group learned much about the cemetery and the 12th president of the United States and ended with a visit to President Taylor’s childhood home.
Morning Pointe residents embrace community pride with activities and events that retrace the steps of history as part of the life enrichment and Meaningful Day(tm) programs.
