Morning Pointe of Louisville (KY) resident Lynda Harper grins broadly after seeing the makeover volunteer Kimberly Clements gave her in honor of Gorgeous Grandma Day. A representative for Mary Kay Cosmetics and frequent Morning Pointe volunteer, Clements taught the personal care community’s female residents how to properly apply blush, eye shadow, lipstick, and mascara and gave them a hand massage complete with exfoliating scrub. “Of course, our residents are all naturally beautiful, but seeing the confidence that just radiated from within them after Kimberly’s makeovers was so inspiring,” says Morning Pointe life enrichment director Lisa Hagerty. “I think that confidence, that feeling that you can do anything, is what Gorgeous Grandma Day is really about, and we are so grateful to Kimberly for giving that feeling to our residents. We can’t wait to have her back!”
