POWELL, Tenn. — Morning Pointe of Powell residents enjoyed a picnic outing at Norris Dam State Park in Rocky Top on the first day of summer. The park, which sits on 4,000 acres, is a popular Tennessee attraction for skiing, fishing, boating and hiking.
But the residents at the assisted living and memory care community simply enjoyed taking in the scenic view over lunch and laughs together. Morning Pointe seniors take trips across the area to sites rich with history and cultural pride, embracing the unsurpassed beauty of national parks as part of the life enrichment program.
